Due to heavy rain forecast tomorrow, the FIA has decided to review its schedule and change the time of race 1 from F3, initially scheduled for 7:30 a.m. this Saturday morning. Therefore, the first round of the weekend will take place this Friday at 16:25 p.m.
« We decided, with the Formula 1, to review the weekend program following the weather forecast for this Saturday, to be sure that the F3 final in Sochi takes place without incident, the race direction justified itself. At each event, we have several options to change race times due to unstable weather. We will assess the situation throughout the day Saturday with a focus on the safety of all involved ».
