During its world council, the International Federation validated a number of regulations in the disciplines it governs (F1, WRC, FIA GT). The FIA has also validated the calendar for the fifth season of A1GP. This will include two new meetings, Assen and Gold Coast, which will open the season on the weekend of October 22 to 25, 2009.
