Pug Pilot in Formula 2 this year, Liam Lawson will discover the joys of Super Formula from December 1st to 4th. Member of the Red Bull Junior Team and reservist of the stable Formula 1, the New Zealander will participate in the Rookie Test of the Japanese championship with Team Mugen.
While his future has not yet been defined, Liam Lawson had recently not ruled out the possibility of doing a Super Formula season in addition to his duties as Red Bull's reserve driver in F1.
Note that he will not be the only driver on the 2 F2022 grid to participate in these tests in Japan. A time representative of Charouz this year, Cem Bolukbasi will also prove himself there with Team TBD.
Champion of the American Regional Formula, Raoul Hyman also responded, as did former Red Bull Junior Team member Igor Fraga.
