Nobuharu Matsushita wins for the first time

Contested in difficult weather conditions, the third round of the 2022 Super Formula season offered a first victory to Nobuharu Matsushita. The B-Max Racing driver overcame his opponents in the final to overtake pole sitter Tomoki Nojiri (Team Mugen) at the start of the penultimate lap. Tadasuke Makino (Dandelion Racing) completed the podium, but saw Nojiri increase his lead to 16 points in the championship. Frenchman Sacha Fenestraz (Kondo) took fourth place ahead of Kamui Kobayashi (KCMG).
