Rain of penalties, Doohan downgraded

Do not rely on the first results of the qualifications of the F2 in Jeddah. These indeed changed a lot a few hours later pole position for Felipe Drugovich (MP Motorsport). In total, 6 pilots were caught by the patrol : Amaury Cordeel (VAR), Frederik Vesti (ART Grand Prix), Clément Novalak (MP Motorsport), Olli Caldwell (Campos), Jüri Vips (Hitech GP) and Jack Doohan (Virtuosi). If the first 5 mentioned will lose a few places on the grid for the Sprint Race, the last one was downgraded for not having been able to provide the 0,8 kg of fuel required in the Parc Fermé after the session. He will therefore start last in the two races of the weekend even though he had set the 3rd time.

Concerning the others, Amaury Cordeel received a 10-place penalty for not having slowed down sufficiently when overtaking the car of Logan sargeant, stopped on the track after the accident despite the red flag and the double yellow flag. He was initially 20th.

Frederik Vesti will have to move back 3 places after hindering Ralph Boschung (Campos) when the latter was on a flying lap. More severe sanction with 5 positions for Clément Novalak found guilty of the same case with Olli Caldwell in turn sanctioned with 3 places for similar situation with Jüri Vips who received the same sentence for a similar case with Enzo Fittipaldi (Charouz).

Frederik Vesti, Clément Novalak, Olli Caldwell and Jüri Vips will be 20th, 17th, 21st and 11th respectively. The Sprint Race pole initially held by Jake Hughes (VAR) will go to Dennis Hauger.
