Craig Dolby (Tottenham Hotspurs) won the first race at Silverstone, during the first round of Superleague Formula. He beat Yelmer Buurman (AC Milan) and Duncan Tappy (Flamengo).
Sébastien Bourdais (Olympique Lyonnais) was fighting for the podium but lost all his chances during an incredibly long pit stop, making the former driver seethe with rage. F1, who could only finish in 15th place. He can console himself by telling himself that he will start in second position in the second race, according to the reverse grid principle.
Franck Montagny (Girondins de Bordeaux) did not start the race. Julien Jousse (AS Roma) finished eighth. Tristan Gommendy (Galatasaray) ranks 14th. Start of the second race at 14:50 p.m., followed immediately after by the super final.
