Sébastien Bourdais (Olympique Lyonnais), the fastest driver in his qualifying group, managed to reach the quarter-finals of the Silverstone qualifying tournament, in Superleague Formula. The Frenchman was then eliminated in the quarter-finals. This is Max Wissel, pilot of the car of FC Bale, who won this tournament by qualifying for the quarters, semis and final, ahead of Alvaro Parente (FC Porto) in this last exercise.
