Oliver Goethe owes a debt of gratitude to his mechanics. The Danish driver, who arrived at the Campos Racing team in Hungary, published a video of the reconstruction of his car during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Victim of a major accident during the Sprint Race with Zane Maloney, the young 17-year-old driver saw his car destroyed in the collision at Spa-Francorchamps. So that he could participate in the Main Race, the Campos team did a titanic job to give Oliver Goethe a new car.
The real stars of last weekend. 🌟Thank you so much to everyone at @CamposRacing for working all night to rebuild my car from scratch, so I was able to race on Sunday. You guys are incredible. Muchísimas gracias! 🙏 #teamwork #f3 #campos #Motorsport pic.twitter.com/dQGJwtrJfj

On the video in time-lapse, we can see the mechanics starting work on a brand new monohull, starting at 17 p.m. on Saturday. For several hours, Campos team members worked on the Dane's car, installing the engine, transmission, suspension, bodywork and wings. The reconstruction was finally completed at… 5 a.m., after 12 hours of work! The mechanics did not have a long night, since Sunday started at 6:30 a.m.
Arriving 4th in the Main Race, Oliver Goethe did not fail to thank his mechanics on his Twitter post. “The real stars of last weekend. Many thanks to everyone at Campos Racing for working all night to rebuild my car from scratch, so I can race on Sunday. You are incredible. “Muchísimas gracias!” » » Hoping that the Danish driver bought his whole team a good Belgian beer!
