Johann Zarco and Jean-Michel Bayle separate

Jean-Michel Bayle announced on social networks the end of his collaboration with Johann Zarco.

 " Hello everyone.
This message to announce the end of my collaboration with Johann Zarco.
I had analyzed a lot of things to work on during the 2022 season and I was counting a lot on this winter to improve them. For various reasons, it is impossible to put in place my training program and strategy for this new 2023 season.
I knew that changing habits are difficult things to implement and it is with disappointment and a feeling of an unfinished challenge that this adventure ends.
See you soon for new challenges and new adventures. »

The pilot Prima Pramac Ducati  had in 2019 used the services of the kid from Manosque for the first time, double world motocross champion and winner of the Bol d’Or in 2002 and 2003 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans Moto 2002. At that time, Zarco was going through a complicated period within the official KTM team. In difficulty with his mount and plagued by doubts, he had chosen to leave the Austrian structure in order to better bounce back in MotoGP. A challenge which proved beneficial since Zarco has since returned to the front of the peloton with Ducati.

At the start of 2022, the two men met to try to take the step that would lead the Ducati rider to this long-awaited first victory in the premier category. After a flamboyant 2021 season, Zarco has stalled slightly in 2022 despite a good harvest of four podiums and two pole positions. Without the moral support of JMB, Johann will now have to find the keys alone to lead his Desmosedici GP to victory. An ambition within the reach of the talented Cannes pilot.
