Heart of France – SS5: Camilli out, Giordano new leader

Leader of rally since SS 3, Eric Camilli (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) went off the road in this fifth special.

Quentin Giordano (Polo GTi R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) sets his third scratch time of the weekend and takes the lead of the rally with a 1”7 lead over Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto), author of the 2nd fastest time. 0”7 behind Giordano.

Cédric Robert (A110-Bonneton HDG) lets loose at the wheel of his Alpine pour aller chercher le 3e temps de cette spéciale, juste devant l’impressionnante Porsche d’Anthony Cosson, sur la réserve après sa crevaison dans la spéciale précédente.

Slowed down by Camilli's exit, William Wagner (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by GT2i) took advantage of the Nice driver's retirement to take provisional third place, in addition to his leadership in the Michelin “R5” Trophy.

Broken down on the road to reach the start of SS4, Jean-Marie Cuoq (C4 WRC) confirmed his abandonment.
