Rally opening in the south-west quarter, the “BAC” would have deserved, in its modern version, a more generous field. Reception, selectivity of timed events and concentration of this 7e edition were unanimous, including the crews who had to abandon (50% of the starters!). Faucher, while discovering his mount, positioned himself from the 1re day as the man to beat against Sarladais Ulbert and Lacouture, playing in front of his door. He managed to catch up during the 2e stage, thus erasing a rather unlucky 2019 season and the boss of MPS-Diffusion showed off his Subaru by putting it on the podium, a situation which had eluded him for three years. Let's remember the excellent running-in of Alary's new engine (1er en F2/13) and the Gobin-Brasseur match for class A6, under the eye of Casale watching for their slightest misstep. Larribière saves the honor of Group N with a modest Suzuki Swift. J.Teitgen

Ranking: 1. Faucher-Augustin (Skoda Fabia) 1h18'57'' (1er Gr. R), 2. Lacouture-Aligant (BMW 318i Compact) at 2'09 (1er Gr. F2000), 3. Ulbert-Lafagne (Subaru Impreza) at 3'09 (1er Gr. A/FA), 4. Hirigoyen-Palacio (Renault Clio) at 4'08, 5. Alary-Perrinaud (Citroën Saxo Vts) at 4'26, 6. Laroche-Lopez (Clio) at 4'42, 7. Gobin-Fraigne (Saxo kit-car) at 4'52 , 8. N.Brasseur-Chatard (Peugeot 106 S16) at 4'53, 9. Casale-Gavet (Saxo Vts) at 5'05, 10. Bartraire-Simian (Clio) at 5'14, … 19. Larribière-Castets (Suzuki Swift Sport) at 11'16 (1er Gr. N/FN), etc.
