Ideal start to the day for Ott Tänak. Leader au général, le pilote Hyundai a signé le premier scratch du jour devant ses deux homologues de Toyota, Elfyn Evans (+2“6) et Sébastien Ogier (6“1).
Overall, the Estonian performed the perfect operation. While he had a 19" lead over his teammate Dani Sordo before the start of the day, Ott Tänak finished this SS4 with a 9" margin over the Iberian. The latter encountered problems when passing a puddle and lost a lot of time.
Sébastien Ogier remains in 3rd but is now more than 40 seconds behind Ott Tänak. Elfyn Evans and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) complete the Top 5. Both are more than a minute from the lead.
The start of SS10 is scheduled for 9:08 a.m.
