If Paillé (207 S2000) took the first two scratches, Longépé quickly set the record straight by taking the other eight to secure a second victory on Saintonge soil. Particularly lively, Terrière kept Fabre in check – who was making his first race in the 208 T16 – and took an undeniable 2nd place. In a simple Clio R3 Acces, Millet displayed his great talent against Lacouture, winner of the F2000 and which closed the Top 5. In group N, Patier, victim of persistent engine cuts, had to submit to the law of Teixeira, then of Hostin, before discovering the problem (circuit breaker) and logically winning. In GT, Dumont (996 GT3) won against Gelusseau (Cayman S).
