The specials of Rally Lyon-Charbonnières follow one another and Yoann bonato (Citroën C3 R5) does not seem to be weakening. The Frenchman sets a new best time at the end of the eighth special stage with a 7″ lead over the former Monte-Carlo winner, Bryan Bouffier (Hyundai i20 R5).
Jeremy Ancian (Ford Fiesta R5) again concedes ten seconds, and is now relegated to 40 seconds of leader Yoann Bonato. Pierre Roche (Skoda Fabia R5) completes the virtual podium by more than a minute.
