It is a Ford Puma double that we find at the top of the Rally from New Zealand at the end of the second special.

As announced, the New Zealand roads were very wet at the start of the day in the Antipodes. These conditions expected for the whole day should erase a large part of the handicap represented by opening the road to Kalle Rovanperä.

At the end of the 29,27 km of the Whaanga Coast special no significant gap is to be noted, the drivers having played caution despite peaks at nearly 180 km/h and endless sliding sequences on these magnificent roads.

C’est donc Gus Greensmith sur sa Ford Puma M-Sport qui prend le scratch sur cette deuxième spéciale du Rallye de Nouvelle-Zélande. Doublé Ford au général puisque Craig Breen ahead of Greensmith by 0″4. Ogier is third, Thank you fourth and Kalle Rovanperä limits the damage and is in 6th place at 13″3.

Sébastien Ogier: “No grip on many sections, but it really wasn't a bad stage! »

The start of SS3 is scheduled for 23:11 p.m. French time.
