Portugal, SS3 – Evans with a short header
Le Rally of Portugal starts from a high base, but the differences remain tiny. On this special, the top 7 were held in less than a second! For the second time in a row, Elfyn Evans leads the way, but Ott Tänak came close to just 1 tenth.
Handicapped by a poorly closed door on Isabelle Galmiche's side, Sébastien Loeb (M-Sport Ford) a dû rouler avec de plus en plus de poussière dans l’habitacle. Le nonuple champion du monde signe le 7e temps. Son équipier Gus Greensmith a également subi un souci similaire.
The wrong operation is carried out by Thierry Neuville, who suddenly lost four positions in the general classification.
