Ain-Jura Rally – Solo gallop by Jérémi Ancian

Unsurprisingly, Ain driver Jérémi Ancian led Team Sarrazin Motorsport's Polo Rally 2 to the lead of the Ain Jura rally after the first two specials contested this Friday evening near Oyonnax.

“Everything is fine” smiled Jérémi Ancian at the stop point of SS1 which he completed 9 seconds 1 faster than Franc-Comtois Michaël Prévalet (Fabia Rally2). 

Same observation during the 2nd special staged at night where Ancian increased his lead by more than fourteen seconds. This Saturday, he will set off for the long day with an already comfortable advantage of 23 seconds over Prévalet, leader of the crews entered in the Michelin Rally Tour. Émilien Roux (Fabia Rally2) completes the podium of this first stage, 44”5 behind Ancian. 

Note the package of Laurent Lacomy, winner in 2018, who was surprised during a morning testing session.
