Ain-Jura Rally – Jérémi Ancian favorite at home

A first night stage on Friday from Oyonnax with two special stages (Haut-Bugey, 5,35 km and Lac Genin, 9,60 km) and three loops of three stages on Saturday (Cessiat-Bellignat, 5,35 km; Chemin de la Guerre – Giron, 21,26 km the big piece and Apremont, 9,90 km) are on the program for the 44e rally of Ain-Jura this weekend.

Resident in Ain, Jérémi Ancian (Polo Rally2), 2e of the Coupe de France final in Béthune at the start of the year, is once again designated as favorite. He dominated the event last year, following his victories in 2016 and 2017.

Franc-Comtois Mickaël Prévalet (Fabia Rally2) winner at Epernay Vins de Champagne at the beginning of April and 3e last year in Ain will try his luck like Laurent Lacomy (Polo Rally2) who won this event in 2018. Emilien Roux (Fabia Rally2), 4e last year, was part of the hunting group.
