Rally – Brunson and Maurin in the lead

Eric Brunson (Subaru Impreza) WRC) signed the scratch in Bibost? Bessenay? Pitival (SS2) and climbs to the top of the standings at Lyon Charbonnières alongside Julien Maurin (Ford Fiesta WRC). The two leaders of the event are 4"5 ahead of the Citroën C4 WRC of David Salanon, first leader of the rally, who lost around ten seconds on the second course.

Dany Snobeck is in fourth place, seven seconds behind at the wheel of his Impreza WRC. Lionel Baud is also less than ten seconds from the lead of the race with his Peugeot 307 WRC. Jean-Marie Cuoq (C4 WRC) is sixth ahead of Jean-Charles Beaubelique (Focus WRC) and Pierre Roché (Mini JCW WRC).
