Maxime Belhomme has made this event – which saw him begin competing in 2013 – his favorite playground. After his great victory last year at the wheel of a Clio RS, our man did it again in the Monts du Vaucluse with this time a 207 S2000, taken in hand at rally from Haute-Provence (4th in the scratch).

Enough to allow him a relentless domination that began in the 4 SS of the 1st stage, which he finished ahead of Poudrel at 41'' and Arzeno at 54''. Collecting 2 more SS the next day, Belhomme only had to control to take his first victory of the season with his new mount.

Behind him, Poudrel (1st GT) and Arzeno (1st R) were fighting for the podium after flying over their group from start to finish. Winner in 2015, Ganguet was hardly at the party in this 29th edition, however making a good comeback: by winning 9th of the 10 ES, the Gapençais thus managed to dethrone Luc Panagiotis from 4th final place.

Author of brilliant times, Grandordy could not counter the rise of the big cars but finished in the Top 6 after an overview of the Gr.N. Author of an anonymous race, Pistachi left Schifano the role of star of the F2000.
