Big favorite of the event as a five-time winner (2005-2011-2012-2016-2017), Salanon left no hope to his rivals. He signed all the scratches (nine) to win with almost 2' ahead of his second, proving in passing that an old WRC can still largely prevail against the new generation of R5. Back after his big outing from Charbo, Habouzit found form by winning eight scratches in group R which gave him 2e place in general.

Behind, a great duel between Clairet and Derory, the latter climbing onto the third step of the final podium by setting excellent times. In F2000, a trio engaged in a superb fight throughout the nine qualifying rounds, which livened up the rally. Roudet, Guichard and De La Cellery were only separated by 46'' in the end in favor of the last named. Victory for Bargeon in Group N, while Massacrier won alone in Group GT. F. Lombard
