Denis Millet took command of the 7th rally National de Savoie-Chautagne from the start, but he had to abandon before taking part in the night SS3 in Mont Clergeon. His runner-up, the Savoyard Mathis Bonfils (Citroën R5) took over ahead of Pascal Pauget at 16,5 seconds, Corentin Accigliaro an astonishing Thibault Joram (Saxo F2.13) who finished SS3 in second place in the general classification, less than three seconds behind!
The best times in the specials are to the credit of Millet (SS1), Bonfils (SS2), Accigliaro (SS3). and Pinheiro who ends the day with a scratch in SS4.
Pascal Pauget takes control of the 4-wheel drive classification of the Michelin Rally Tour.
Resumption tomorrow morning at 10:38 a.m. for the Le Clergeon Long special.
