At the end of the first stage of Rally Terre de Langres, Sylvain Michel (Skoda Fabia R5) leads the event with a 4″7 lead over Thibault Durbec (Citroën DS3). WRC).

The latter had a good margin before the start of the last SS of the day, but a puncture, a mishap also encountered in this special by Jean-Charles Beaubelique (Citroën DS3 WRC) or even Lionel Baud (Citroën DS3 WRC) or even Stéphane Lefebvre ( Citroën C4 WRC), caused the previous leader to lose a lot of time.

The day did a lot of damage to the peloton of favorites, since Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 R5) gave up in the final sector, broken shock absorber, after losing time with a puncture earlier in the day.

Stéphane Lefebvre had previously suffered a puncture in SS3, leaving Durbec alone in the lead, before encountering a problem with a brake pipe, then a new puncture and cooling problems in the concluding SS of this first stage, causing him to lose the former Citroën driver precious minutes.

It was ultimately Thomas Baudoin who placed his Citroën C3 R5 on the third step of the provisional podium, 1’01” behind leader Michel. Lionel Baud and Jean-Michel Raoux (Skoda Fabia R5) complete the provisional podium. Stéphane Lefebvre emerges in 42nd place more than a quarter of an hour behind.
