Julien Maurin (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) got up on the right foot this morning, since he signed the first scratch of this second day of the rally du Touquet. The reigning French champion is ahead of Eric Brunson (Fiesta RS WRC) by 3″ and especially Quentin Gilbert (Citroën C4 WRC) by 20″3. Overall, Maurin now has 52″ on Gilbert. Brunson recovers 3rd place to the detriment of Pierre Roché (Mini JCW WRC) 4th in SS8.
Nouvelles bonnes performances de Jean-Charles Beaubelique (Fiesta R5) 7e du chrono et qui prend la tête du Trophée Michelin pour 0″5 sur Marc AMourette (Citroën DS3 R3) et de Stéphane Lefebvre (208 R2), 8e, qui devance notamment Gilles Nantet et sa Porsche 911 GT2. Patrick Rouillard se rapproche de Nantet au général. 14″ séparent les deux Porsche.
