Julien Maurin (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) got up on the right foot this morning, since he signed the first scratch of this second day of the rally du Touquet. The reigning French champion is ahead of Eric Brunson (Fiesta RS WRC) by 3″ and especially Quentin Gilbert (Citroën C4 WRC) by 20″3. Overall, Maurin now has 52″ on Gilbert. Brunson recovers 3rd place to the detriment of Pierre Roché (Mini JCW WRC) 4th in SS8.

New good performances from Jean-Charles Beaubelique (Fiesta R5) 7th in the time trial and who takes the lead in the Michelin Trophy by 0″5 over Marc AMourette (Citroën DS3 R3) and Stéphane Lefebvre (208 R2), 8th, who is ahead of Gilles in particular Nantet and its Porsche 911 GT2. Patrick Rouillard is getting closer to Nantet in the general. 14″ separate the two Porsches.
