Petter Solberg (Citroen C4 WRC) set the best time of SS14, gaining three tenths of a second from Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford Focus WRC), leader of the Rally from Japan. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C4 WRC) gave up a second to the Finn. Second overall, he is now 2??6 from the lead.
On the other hand, Sébastien Loeb (Citroën C4 WRC) fails to close the gap that separates him from the leading drivers. While he was ahead at mid-special, the Frenchman finally gave up 2??4 to Petter Solberg. He is 36??4 behind Jari-Matti Latvala.
