Skoda Motorsport will benefit from new premises near the Czech factory in Mlada Boleslav, where all the departments making up the competition entity of the Volkswagen satellite brand will be grouped together.
R&D, production, offices, showroom will be brought together under the same roof, for a useful surface area of more than 16 m2. Skoda Motorsport has been shining for several years in WRC 2 in ERC and in a number of national championships with its Fabia R5, nearly 250 examples of which have already been sold around the world.
