Winner of the drivers and teams championship during the two editions of the very young FIA F3, Prema has announced the line-up of its drivers for the official end-of-season tests which will take place in Barcelona, next Monday and Tuesday. The Italian team will indeed test four drivers: Dennis Hauger, Roman Stanek, Arthur Leclerc and David Schumacher.
Vice champion of German F4 in 2019 behind Theo Pourchaire, Hauger had a complicated season at Hitech in FIA F3, during which he still scored a podium on his debut. He will therefore have the opportunity to prove that he deserves another chance in a good seat.
For his part, Arthur Leclerc has the advantage of already knowing the house well since he is in the middle of the fight for the title in Formula Regional Europe under the colors of Prema. He is currently in 2nd place in the championship behind his teammate Gianluca Petecof. He will have the opportunity to show his speed in an even faster car.
Car #3 will be shared between Roman Stanek and David Schumacher. As for the Czech, he joined the FIA F3 ranks at the very last moment at the start of the season, when he was initially supposed to take part in the Formula Regionale Europe with… Prema. At Charouz, he managed to score three points in a team in difficulty.
David Schumacher, his former teammate in the Czech team, also showed him good things without scoring a single point. He ended up joining Carlin at the end of the season. As a reminder, there will be another official testing session at the end of October. It will be once again in Spain but this time on the Jerez track.
