The FIA should soon provide an explanation regarding the situation because this is not what was initially supposed to happen. In any case, the Dutchman is indeed a double world champion and joins Alberto Ascari, Graham Hill, Emerson Fittipaldi, Mika Häkkinen and Fernando Alonso in the rank of double world champions.

Incomprehension, Verstappen wins ahead of Leclerc and Pérez. However, the podium since Leclerc cut the last chicane and then pushed Pérez to the outside.
