T58 – As in 2017, Sebastian Vettel wins the opening GP of the season! He is almost six seconds ahead of Lewis Hamilton; Kimi Räikkönen completes the podium.
T58 – Lewis Hamilton drives much slower than the other drivers in the top 5 but manages his car.

T54 – Five rounds remain to be played. For Lewis Hamilton, things are looking bad, since he is 2″7 behind Sebastian Vettel.
T53 – There is no overtaking in the peloton; Chalres Leclerc is 13th, Lance Stroll 14th and Brendon Hartley 15th and last.
T51 – Yet another new lap record for Lewis Hamilton! The Briton is 1″3 from the lead.
T50 – Lewis Hamilton attacks as much as possible, and comes back to 1″5 behind Sebastian Vettel.
T49 – The two Force Indias were aiming for points, so far it has failed: Sergio Pérez and Esteban Ocon are 11th and 12th.
T47 – Lewis Hamilton locked his front right wheel and went wide out of a corner, the gap is almost three seconds. It will be very hard to come back on the German with ten laps to go.
T47 – Lewis Hamilton gets closer to Sebastian Vettel again, the duel is decided by tenths of a lap!
T45 – The two Renaults did not progress during the race. Nico Hülkenberg is 7th, Carlos Sainz Jr 10th.
T44 – “The left front wheel was poorly attached” indicates Romain Grosjean in the paddock.
T41 – Engineer informs Sebastian Vettel when Lewis Hamilton has DRS. The Mercedes set another better lap.
T40 – The reigning world champion does not give up and signs the best lap in the race. He is sailing around the second of Sebastian Vettel.
T39 – There are 20 laps to go before the checkered flag.
T38 – Lewis Hamilton left the DRS zone, and is more than a second behind Sebastian Vettel.
T35 – Daniel Ricciardo threatens Kimi Räikkönen to gain 3rd place.
