Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen) gained three seconds from Dani Sordo (Hyundai) by setting the provisional best time at the end of the 21,26km Querol, 10th special of the Rally de Catalunya. Following the Spaniard by half a second, Kris Meeke (Citroën) took more than 20 seconds from Mads Ostberg (Ford).

Dani Sordo retains the lead of the Rally de Catalunya with a 14s lead over Sébastien Ogier. Andreas Mikkelsen (Volkswagen) remains 5rd ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and Hayden Paddon (Hyundai). Kris Meeke (Citroën) took sixth place from Mads Ostberg (Ford) by three seconds.

Meeke set the 3rd provisional time, 3″5 behind Ogier. The Citroën driver regains the advantage over Ostberg for a 2″ lead and takes 9th place. “The puncture cost us time, that’s for sure. »

Ostberg drops another 24s to Ogier. The M-Sport driver is in 6th place. “I always try different things with my driving depending on the stages. »

Sordo concedes 3s to Ogier and only has a 14″5 lead over the Frenchman in the fight for 1st place. “I was less comfortable, some passages were dirty. This is where I wasted time. »

Paddon ranks 8″4 behind Ogier and one second behind Mikkelsen. The New Zealander finds himself 10s behind Neuville overall.

Neuville ranks 5″4 behind Ogier and takes 2s from Mikkelsen. The Belgian is less than 12 seconds behind the Norwegian. “I only gained 2 seconds... The car works a little better but I still have understeer. »
