And Jari Huttunen is the last Rally1 driver to cross the finish line, 13″5 behind Lappi.
Adrien Fourmaux finished the day 7″8 behind Lappi during SS10.
Pierre-Louis Loubet had a few scares on this special but reached the finish 9″8 behind Lappi.
And once again, it was Esapekka Lappi who achieved the best time! The Finn clocked 7'05″9, 1″4 better than Evans and 1″5 better than Tänak! The gap is still closing at the top of the general classification, only 3″8 ahead for Ott Tänak!
Lappi: “It was a very good day indeed. The car was incredible and our driving was also very good. We improved our speed a little in the afternoon and it will be a good fight for tomorrow. »
Gus Greensmith concludes this 10th special 4″6 behind the best time.
2″4 behind for Craig Breen on Elfyn Evans, the Irishman increases his lead over Katsuta for 5th place.
Takamoto Katsuta arrives 3″6 behind Evans, the Japanese looks quite frustrated as he crosses the line.
For the first time of the day, Ott Tänak is beaten by Elfyn Evans! But for just 1 tenth! It's very close between all the drivers in Finland!
Tanak: “In this stage I tried to go a little faster, but then the mistakes start to come. It was a tiring day, my battery is dead. My bed is waiting for me! »
Best time for Elfyn Evans with 1″2 ahead of Rovanperä! The Welshman regains some fresh air for 3rd place overall with a margin of 1″7.
Evans: “I can't really say I'm satisfied. I didn't feel completely comfortable from the start and we just didn't achieve our goal. It improved this afternoon and I hope we can continue this momentum tomorrow. »
It's a little better for Thierry Neuville on this last special, only 2″3 behind Rovanperä's time. But victory already seems out of reach for the Belgian…
Neuville: “The second pass is a bit easier – you can be more confident and trust the car. We are getting closer but we are not there yet. We need to keep an eye on Katsuta and Breen tomorrow. »
And Kalle Rovanperä finished this special with a 7'08″5.
Rovanperä: “I’m quite happy. I think we pushed pretty hard the whole time and we couldn't do much more. It was still quite slippery. »
