Ott Tänak (Toyota) scored his 6th consecutive scratch in SS14 of the Monte-Carlo Rally. By completing the 13,58km of La Cabanette – Col de Braus in 9'52''4, the Estonian took more than 7 seconds from his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala and more than 8 seconds from Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai).
Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) took another tenth from Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) by finishing less than a second behind the benchmark. The leader of the event complained of a “small problem” with his C3 WRC without wanting to be more precise.
Sébastien Ogier retains the lead of the Monte-Carlo Rally, 3 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville after the first pass of the final stage. Ott Tänak climbs to 2rd place with a little less than 3 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb, while Jari-Matti Latvala is only 3 second behind the Alsatian.
