Ott Tänak (Ford) signed a new scratch at Wales Rally GB by winning the 14th special, the second passage of Gartheinog, completing the 11,34km in 7'07''4. The Dmack driver this time took back almost 6 seconds from Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen). With 5”7 behind the reference, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) still gained almost 3 seconds on his teammate Hayden Paddon. Kris Meeke (Citroën) loses another 3 seconds on the New Zealander.
Sébastien Ogier maintains 24”8 over Ott Tänak with two courses remaining on the program. Thierry Neuville is now ahead of Hayden Paddon by more than 14 seconds. Kris Meeke is more than half a minute behind the New Zealander.
Lefebvre ranks almost 7s behind Camilli but still has a lead of more than 37s over his compatriot.
Camilli achieves the 9th provisional time, ahead of his teammate Ostberg by half a second.
Meeke doesn't seem to insist anymore. The Citroën driver finished 3 tenths behind Sordo and found himself 32 seconds behind Paddon.
Tänak regains 5”8 from Ogier by setting a time of 7’07”4. The Dmack driver is 24″8 behind the leader.
Otsberg is still the slowest at the finish, being 1″5 behind Sordo who is not worried in 6th place.
Latvala signs the 3rd provisional time, 7 tenths behind Ogier. The Finn remains 8th.
Tänak has a 4″3 lead over Ogier in the 1st split. The Estonian seems to be on the attack.

Sordo ranks 2″4 behind Paddon. The Spaniard remains 6th.
Paddon loses 2″7 on Neuville and finds himself 14″4 behind the Belgian… The crews definitely seem not to want to change position…
Neuville took the provisional scratch with a time of 7'13″1, improving Ogier's time by a tenth.
Mikkelsen finished 7 tenths behind Ogier.
Ogier set a first time of 7'13″2, 13 seconds more than Neuville's performance in the first run.
Ogier has already set off in the 11,34km of Gartheinog. Neuville took the scratch this morning in 7'00"5.
