Rally Finland 2017
Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) took the scratch in the 22,68km of Päijälä, SS15 of the Rally Finland, completing the course in 10'55''2. The Finn regained 5”4 on his teammate Esapekka Lappi. Elfyn Evans (Ford) was closest to the benchmark with almost 4 seconds behind, taking back almost 3 seconds from Juho Hänninen (Toyota). Mads Ostberg (Ford) finished more than 9s from the scratch. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) lost a dozen seconds on the lead of the race.
Jari-Matti Latvala takes the lead in Rally Finland with a 4s lead over his compatriot. The Finns now occupy the first four places since Juho Hänninen took 8th place between Teemu Suninen (Ford) and Elfyn Evans (Ford) who also took the advantage over Craig Breen (Citroën). The Irishman is now threatened by Mads Ostberg who is just over 4s behind. Thierry Neuville remains 3th.
Paddon hit a rock and damaged his suspension. The Hyundai driver had already broken his suspension during the first stage.
Veiby is also arrested in the special. The Skoda driver was in 12th place in the standings.
Lappi sets the 3rd time, 5″4 behind Latvala. The latter takes the lead of the rally with a 4″8 lead over his compatriot. “It was a good stage for me, but Jari-Matti is attacking very hard. »
