Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) signs a new scratch in the 24,38km of Ouninpohja, SS16 of the Rally Finland, with a time of 10'56''9. The Finn took 2”5 from his teammate Esapekka Lappi. Juho Hänninen completed the Yaris WRC hat-trick 11s behind.
Teemu Suninen (Ford) lost around twenty seconds by missing a turn. Mads Ostberg (Ford) lost 3 minutes when he hit a stone, forcing him to change a wheel. Its suspension and brakes are damaged.
Jari-Matti Latvala now has a 7s lead over Esapekka Lappi. Juho Hänninen took 3rd place for less than 3 seconds ahead of Teemu Suninen. Elfyn Evans (Ford) came back to within 3s of 5th Finlandias. Craig Breen (Citroën) remains 4th ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) who took advantage of Mads Ostberg's problems to take 6th position.
