In Finland, Ott Tänak (Hyundai) must face the facts: it is a Welshman who lays down the law. Elfyn Evans (Toyota) had the luxury of distancing the Estonian by an additional 3”5 on the special which will serve as the Power Stage this Sunday, October 3 at the end of the event.

The Briton from Toyota Gazoo Racing increases his margin to 12”2 and seems impregnable. Hyundai Motorsport's second man, Craig Breen, is now down with more than half a minute left.

The unofficial prize for the longest jump on this special is given to Adrien Fourmaux (Ford). The Frenchman, who is discovering the Rally Finland with his new co-driver Alexandre Coria, made a jump of 57 meters!
