Sébastien Ogier (Ford) is only one stage away from victory at the Rally of Portugal, the M-Sport driver having only lost 1''5 to Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) in the 8,66km of Montim where Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) was the fastest with a time of 5'51''7.
Sébastien Ogier maintains a lead of 17''5 over Thierry Neuville, while Dani Sordo (Hyundai) still completes the provisional podium ahead of Ott Tänak (Ford) and Craig Breen (Citroën).
Ogier finishes 1″8 behind Neuville and maintains a 17″5 lead over Neuville with one stage to go.
Neuville sets the 4th fastest time, 7 tenths behind Evans. The Hyundai driver is in 2nd place.
Sordo sets the 5th time, 1″9 behind the provisional scratch. The Hyundai driver remains isolated in 3rd row.
Tänak sets the 5th fastest time, ahead of Breen by 1″5. The M-Sport driver is in 4th place, now 22 seconds ahead of the Irishman.
Breen continues to lose time by only setting the 5th time, 4″2 behind Evans. The Citroën driver remains 5th.
Evans took the provisional scratch with a time of 5'55"1, 3 tenths better than Lappi. The Dmack driver is still 6th.
Hänninen is closest to his teammate Lappi with 4 tenths behind. The Toyota driver remains 7th.
Ostberg sets the 3rd time, 4″3 behind Lappi and 3 seconds behind Latvala, who is less than 14 seconds behind 8th place.
Latvala is the closest to Lappi with 1”2 behind. The Toyota driver is in 9th place.
Lappi increases the pace with a time of 5'55"3, 10"9 better than Lefebvre. The Toyota driver is still 11th.
Lefebvre further improves the reference time with a time of 6'06″2, or 8″4 better than Prokop. The Citroën driver is in 14th place.
Prokop improves the benchmark with a time of 6'14"6, 9"2 ahead of Gorban.
Al Qassimi ranks at 1″2. The Citroën private driver is in 16th place.
Gorban completes the Montim special in 6'23″8. The Ukrainian slipped to 16th behind Meeke.
Gorban is expected to start SS18 from 11:55 a.m.

In WRC 2, Mikkelsen continues to dominate the category. Tidemand widened the gap on Suninen and now has a 25s lead over the Finn at the end of SS17.
