The final stage of Wales Rally GB will feature 5 stages. The 14,76km Gwydir Power Stage will be covered exceptionally during its first pass. The day should start at 8:22 a.m. with the 10,06km from Elsi.

Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) was able to catch some air in the 18th special of Wales Rally GB by leading Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) by 1”5, the Finn having stalled in a hairpin. Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) signed the scratch by completing the 11,26km of Gartheiniog in 6'43''6 with 2''3 ahead of Craig Breen (Citroën) who is 2 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and Esapekka Lappi (Toyota).

Sébastien Ogier has a 4”4 lead over Jari-Matti Latvala on the evening of the 2nd stage. Esapekka Lappi remains on the provisional podium with less than 2 seconds ahead of Craig Breen. Mads Ostberg (Citroën) remains 5th, but his compatriot Andreas Mikkelsen came back to less than 3 seconds while still ahead of his teammates Hayden Paddon and Thierry Neuville.

Neuville achieves the same time as Lappi with 4″5 behind Mikkelsen.
