Huttunen remains solid leader of WRC 2 with more than 2 minutes ahead of Gilbert. Camilli remains 13s behind the Finn.

Lappi was able to resume the connection after inspecting the suspension which seemed to have held. The Toyota driver got away with quite a scare.

Lappi should have enough of a lead to maintain his position until the finish. Changing the wheel should have solved the problem, although the suspension seems to have suffered.

Victory is not yet decided at Rally Finland. Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) dropped 7s to his teammate Juho Hänninen in the second pass of Lempää, but the leader of the event indicated that he was suffering from a mechanical problem.

Teemu Suninen (Ford) lost 19s after damaging his Fiesta WRC after spinning.

Juho Hänninen (Toyota) signed the scratch with Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) by completing the 6,8km of Lempää in 3'08''3. The first Finn took 1”1 from Elfyn Evans (Ford).

Esapekka Lappi maintains a lead of almost 38 seconds over his teammate Juho Hänninen. Elfyn Evans remains 3rd, moving 9 tenths from 2nd place. Teemu Suninen fell to 4th position almost 16s behind. Craig Breen (Citroën) remains 5th ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), Ott Tänak (Ford), Kris Meeke (Citroën), Dani Sordo (Hyundai) and Mads Ostberg (Ford).

Lappi dropped 7s on Hänninen. The leader of Rally Finland did not make extensive comments upon arrival, the Toyota driver having a problem with his Yaris WRC!

Suninen finished 19s behind Hänninen with damage to the front of his Toyota.
