The first pass will conclude with the Street Stage Leon super special, just 1,11km long, which should be contested from 21:02 p.m. Paris time.
Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) rolled over on SS4 of the Rally Mexico, the 17,23km Ortega. The Welshman lost control of his Ford Fiesta WRC on compression and rolled over at high speed. Despite the damage, the Englishman was able to restart to limit his delay to less than three minutes.
Dani Sordo (Hyundai) was once again the fastest. The Spaniard completed the course in 9'33"2, beating Sébastien Loeb (Citroën), his closest rival, by almost two seconds. Ott Tänak (Toyota) followed more than three seconds behind, preceding Kris Meeke (Citroën) who dropped 5”6 to the leader of the event. The Northern Irishman finished ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai). Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) followed almost nine seconds from the scratch when he had to activate "linkage" mode for a moment to limit the overheating of his engine. The Finn preceded Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) handicapped by their opening position. Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) still lacks pace and loses even more than 13 seconds on the lead of the race.
Dani Sordo now has more than 15 seconds ahead of Kris Meeke. Sébastien Loeb climbs onto the provisional podium three seconds behind his teammate. Ott Tänak follows in fourth place ahead of Sébastien Ogier and Andreas Mikkelsen. Thierry Neuville finds himself seventh ahead of the Finns Jari-Matti Latvala, Teemu Suninen and Esapekka Lappi who complete the top ten.

Loeb is closest to Sordo with 1″9 behind. The Alsatian is now in 3rd place, 3 seconds behind his teammate Meeke.

Sordo still takes the provisional scratch, ahead of Tänak by 3″4 and Meeke by more than 5s. The Hyundai driver now has a 15” lead over the Northern Irishman.

Suninen signs the worst time after Evans, 14 seconds behind Meeke. The M-Sport driver should still gain a position with the misfortunes of his teammate.
Evans finishes 2'39 behind and will slip beyond 12th position.
Rovanpera retired after SS2. The Skoda driver damaged his radiator when he hit a stone on the landing of a jump.
Evans may be able to reach the mid-stage service but he will lose several minutes in his misadventure.
Evans' Ford suffered damage to the left rear wheel. The Welshman leaves to try to finish the special.
Evans made a mistake in the special. The M-Sport driver was surprised by a compression. His Ford is parked on the shoulder. The Welshman occupied 3rd place overall.
Meeke finished 2″2 behind Tänak. The Citroën driver is fighting to keep his 2nd place.
Mikkelsen is closest to Tänak with 5″2 behind. The Hyundai driver is less than 2 seconds behind Ogier overall.
Latvala was forced to activate “road” mode in a section at altitude in order to limit the overheating of his engine.
Tänak improves Latvala’s time by 5″5 with a time of 9’36″6. The Toyota driver is fighting at the front, particularly against Loeb.
