Dani Sordo signs the 5th provisional time, 5″8 behind Lappi. The Spaniard is in difficulty with his notes on this brand new special.

Sébastien Loeb drops some time and finishes 6″6 behind Lappi’s time. The Alsatian missed a hairpin by going too wide and lost a handful of seconds...

He remains temporarily in the lead in the general standings ahead of Lappi, but Loubet is arriving and could take the lead of the rally!

Loeb: “I was a little too late after a hard left turn to brake in a hairpin and I couldn’t get the car to turn. I had to backtrack. »

12h

And just behind, Esapekka Lappi continues to go faster and faster and signs the new provisional best time, one second faster than Breen.

After his mishap during SS4 (puncture) which cost him almost 2 minutes, Craig Breen is desperate to catch up. Despite the frustration, the Irishman set the best time with 2”2 ahead of Neuville.

Neuville: “I don’t know about my time, but I did what I could. The behavior was completely different here compared to the other stages – it was a different profile. For this kind of stage, I have to work on the chassis. »

12h

Elfyn Evans sets the best time, in 8’04″5, 2″1 better than Tänak!

Evans: “It was really horrible. The grip was very, very bad and it's going to be a massive wipeout for everyone coming in. It was difficult to find confidence here. »

Ott Tänak took advantage of the first sweep achieved by Rovanperä to improve the best time, with a 5″ lead over the Finn.

Tanak: “Yeah, that’s a lot of cleaning. We could follow Kalle's lines but without a hybrid and with a lot of uphill hairpins, it was a big struggle. »

12h

First to cross the line, Kalle Rovanperä recorded a time of 8’11”8 on this 13,9 kilometer special.

Rovanperä: “There was no grip. A really difficult stage with a lot of cleaning and even less grip than in this morning's stages. Not easy. »
