Here is the final ranking of the first day of testing:

The checkered flag is presented to the drivers. This first day ends with a best time from Hamilton, author of a time of 1'21"765 at the wheel of the Mercedes W08. If a few teams encountered mechanical problems, it was McLaren who were the most bothered.

Sauber has finished its day. Ericsson completed 70 laps at the wheel of the C36 which finished last in the standings, 5 seconds behind the benchmark set by Hamilton in the Mercedes W08.

Massa has just crossed the 100 lap mark at the wheel of his Williams FW40 which occupies 3rd place in the standings.
Pérez will not return to the track. The Force India VJM10 had exhaust problems. The Mexican was only able to complete 39 laps and set the 7th provisional time.
Hülkenberg moved up to 9th place with the Renault RS 17. The German set a time of 1'24″7 and was ahead of Alonso's McLaren MCL3 by almost 32 tenths.
Ricciardo is approaching the 40 lap mark after almost missing the morning of testing with sensor problems. The Red Bull RB13 remains in 6th place.

Magnussen improves further and is 8 tenths behind the Williams at the wheel of the Haas VF17.
Magnussen moved up to 4th position after installing soft tires which allowed him to set a time of 1'23″0, one second behind Massa's Williams FW40.
Alonso managed to improve on the soft tires with a time of 1'25"0 but the McLaren driver remained 9th, a tenth behind Magnussen's Haas VF17.

Vettel has passed the 100 lap mark in the Ferrari SF70H but it is still far from the 130 laps achieved by Hamilton and Bottas with the Mercedes W08.

Ricciardo climbs to 5th place after switching to soft tires. The Red Bull driver is 2 tenths behind Bottas' time achieved this morning in the Mercedes W08.
Alonso finished his stint after completing 8 laps. The McLaren MCL32 is still in 9th place.

Magnussen improves his personal time with a time of 1'24″9 at the wheel of the Haas VF17. The Dane is on medium tires.
Alonso moved up to 9th place, coming back to 3 tenths behind Magnussen. The McLaren driver is the only one to use hard tires.
Alonso finally set a time in the McLaren MCL32. The Asturian completed a lap in 1'26"110 with the hard tires and found himself 10th ahead of Ericsson's Sauber.
Another return to the pits for Alonso who still does not seem able to complete a stint.
Ricciardo immediately improved his time and moved up to 8th place with a time of 1'25"377 which placed him one tenth behind Magnussen's Haas.
