The second stage will end with the two passages of the 1,27km Destination NSW super special which will be contested from 6:37 a.m. Paris time.
Ott Tänak (Toyota) consolidated his lead at Rally Australia by winning the 1,99km Raleigh super special. The Estonian took more than 2 seconds from his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala and Hayden Paddon (Hyundai). Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) was again ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) by 6 tenths.
Ott Tänak has around ten seconds ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala. Hayden Paddon still completes the provisional podium ahead of Mads Ostberg (Citroën) and Esapekka Lappi (Toyota). Sébastien Ogier remains 6th ahead of Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) and Thierry Neuville.
Breen sets the 5th time, 1″1 behind Tänak. The Citroën driver completes the Top 10.
Mikkelsen sets the 6th time, 1″6 behind Tänak’s scratch.
Ostberg finished 2″3 behind Tänak.
Latvala is one of the slowest, 2″3 behind his teammate Tänak, who now has a ten-second lead in the general classification.
Paddon loses 2″1 on Tänak and finds himself more than 20s behind the leader.
Tänak does not let up his effort and improves Evans' benchmark by 6 tenths. The Toyota driver retains the lead of the event.
This is the 3rd time for Lappi who ranks 3 tenths behind Evans. The Toyota driver is 5th.
Ogier continues to manage by ranking 2 tenths behind his teammate Evans. The Frenchman ranks 6th.
Suninen ranks 1″3 behind his teammate Evans. The Finn finds himself almost 13s behind Neuville in the general classification.
Evans improves Neuville's time by 8 tenths. The M-Sport driver is in 7th place.
Neuville is already in the Raleigh super special. He sets a time of 1'33″6 and remains 8th before the 2 super specials which will conclude the 2nd stage.
