Quartararo takes the advantage in FP1, Bagnaia 17th

Despite strong gusts and an injured finger, fabio quartararo was the fastest with a lap of 1'31.399. The Frenchman, who has no other choice but to win this weekend to hope to keep his place on the throne, finished 35 thousandths ahead of Marc Marquez. The Catalan, who made a mistake at the second corner, is ahead of Brad Binder and the first Ducati in the hierarchy, that of Jack Miller.

Alex Rins completes the Top 5 on his Suzuki ahead of the two representatives of the Pramac team, Johann Zarco and Jorge Martin. Miguel Oliveira, who is competing in his final weekend with KTM, is eighth ahead of Aleix Espargaro and Joan Mir.

Among the losers of this opening session are Francesco Bagnaia, only 17th, six tenths behind his rival Fabio Quartararo, or Enea Bastianini, who plays third place on the final podium against Espargaro, is 14th.
