Aged 23, Christian Rasmussen will compete in the entire 2024 IndyCar season except for the oval events in Iowa, Gateway and Milwaukee. He will therefore take part in the legendary 500 Miles of Indianapolis for the first time in his young career.

“Christian is a driver who has really distinguished himself during his rise in the Road to Indy program and he has shown the ability to be a true leader in the second half of his Indy NXT Championship (5 victories, 8 podiums, 13 top 10s in 14 events. Editor's note), commented Ed Carpenter, the boss of the eponymous team.

He did a great job when we tested him at Barber last month and showed he was fully ready to take the next step in IndyCar. We are excited to add him to our line-up and anticipate a successful 2024 season! »

Ed Carpenter, for his part, will continue to don his helmet during rounds on IndyCar ovals, including the Indy 500 in 2024.
