The conflict of dates between the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and the Berlin E-Prix is leading manufacturers to adapt accordingly. Several drivers are thus entered at the same time in the Hypercar category of the FIA WEC and in the World Championship. This is particularly the case of Edoardo Mortara, who drives for Mahindra in FE and Lamborghini in Endurance.

If certain teams have chosen to race with only two drivers in Belgium, which the regulations authorize and this will notably be the case for Hertz Team Jota Porsche No. 12 where Norman Nato, who will be in Germany with Andretti, will not be replaced. On the side of the Italian manufacturer, the choice was made to requisition Andrea Caldarelli, driver IMSA of the brand alongside Matteo Cairoli and Romain Grosjean.

The Transalpine will thus support Mirko Bortolotti and Daniil Kvyat across Quiévrain in the SC63, as confirmed by Rouven Mohr, technical director of the program, in a press briefing at the 6 Hours of Imola this Saturday. The 34-year-old driver is also present in the paddock for the second round of the 2024 WEC this weekend.

The start of the 6 Hours of Imola will be given at 13:00 p.m.
