Fuoco takes pole at the 6 Hours of Imola, Ferrari hat-trick at home

Ferrari dominated qualifying for the 6 Hours of Imola this Saturday. Antonio Fuoco placed the #50 on pole ahead of Robert Shwartzman (AF Corse #83) and Alessandro Pier Guidi (Ferrari #51).

Fuoco takes pole at the 6 Hours of Imola, Ferrari hat-trick at home
  • Qualifying for the 6 Hours of Imola took place this Saturday at the Autodromo Dino e Enzo Ferrari.
  • Dominant during all the Free Practice sessions, the Ferraris signed an authoritarian hat-trick in front of their Tifosi. Antonio Fuoco made everyone agree with a lap in 1:29.466, 0.419 seconds ahead of Robert Shwartzman (AF Corse n°83) and Alessandro Pier Guidi (Ferrari n°51).
  • Behind the three cars of the manufacturer, we find the two Porsche official with n°6 ahead of n°5. 6th, the Toyota n°7 piloted by Kamui Kobayashi is the only other car in the same second as the lead car.
  • The first BMW, the No. 20 of René Rast, was inserted between the two Toyotas, in 7th place. Callum Ilott (Hertz Team JOTA n°12) and Julien Andlauer (Proton Competition n°99) conclude the top 10.
  • Matt Campbell (Porsche n°5) and Brendon Hartley (Toyota n°8) made a mistake during the Hyperpole.
  • A red flag was waved 1'57” from the end of Q1 after Dries Vanthoor (BMW) went off the track and brought gravel onto the track at Piratella on his birthday.
  • The Peugeot and Alpine failed to cross the line towards the Hyperpole. The #94 Peugeot will start in 14th position ahead of the #93. On the A side, the No. 35 will start from the 17th row in front of the No. 36.
  • Isotta Fraschini finished in last position.
