Ferrari could hardly have dreamed of a better performance than this to start their weekend at home. Dominant since the start of the tests, the firm of Maranello hit the nail on the head by signing a brilliant hat-trick during the Hyperpole this Saturday, locking the first three places on the grid for the 6 Hours of Imola this Sunday, the start of which will be given at 13:00 p.m.

Third and final representative of red and yellow, Alessandro Pier Guidi returned to this performance in front of the Tifosi and hopes for the same success at the end of the 6 hours, even if he expects a choppy race.

Alessandro Pier Guidi (Ferrari AF Corse n°51), third in the Hyperpole at the 6 Hours of Imola: « This is an excellent qualification for the team. Antonio (Fuoco) did a very good lap. He did a very good job. We struggled a bit with lap times, even during Free Practice. We are better on long runs, I am confident for tomorrow. Third place is a good place to start.

We couldn't have hoped for better in front of our audience. I hope they enjoy it and we will try to be in the same place tomorrow. We didn't talk about anything (in terms of strategy. Editor's note). It is very difficult to plan things. From experience, every time we plan something, it goes wrong. Sometimes it's better to not plan and try. Of course, we will try to be a little more careful among ourselves so as not to get caught up.

We are competitive, so I prefer a clean race. It will be difficult with traffic management and probable neutralizations. We expect a lot of Full Course Yellows or Safety Cars. So we have to be smart and use this to our advantage. »
