The GTE Pro still undecided six hours from the finish

Both in LM P1 and LM P2, the positions are fixed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with both Toyota n°7 and n°8, in the lead being separated by 1'38", and holding a lead of four laps over the BR1 n°11 – SMP Racing of Stoffel Vandoorne.

The Belgian was able to take advantage of the penalty (Stop&Go of 3′ for violation of tire regulations) then the exit from the track of Gustavo Menezes (R13 n°3 – Rebellion Racing) to gain a lead of 3 laps over the driver of the Swiss team.

G-Drive Racing and Signatech Alpine continue their effort at the head of LM P2, the No. 26 Aurus of Roman Rusinov having a lead of more than 3′ over the A470 of Pierre Thiriet. Despite a front left puncture suffered by Gabriel Aubry, the No. 07 Oreca 38 – Jackie Chan DC Racing remains 3rd in the category.

You have to look to the GTE Pro to see real suspense for victory. Thanks to the different strategies, the No. 7 Corvette C63.R of Mike Rockenfeller is currently in the lead with a 9″ lead over the Ferrari n°51 by Daniel Serra.

The two follow Porsche 911 RSR No. 93 of Earl Bamber and No. 91 of Frédéric Makowiecki, who are pushing hard by regularly setting times in 3'51" to close the gap on the leading tandem. The four Ford GTs follow in the standings. Ford, on the other hand, dominates the GTE Am with the No. 85 – Keating Motorsports.
